This is just the beginning of the differences.
First an explanation:
Heterochromia iridum
Variation in coloration
Complete heterochromia is when they have two different colored eyes.
.0006034% of population
Coloboma
Coloboma is an eye abnormality that occurs before birth. Colobomas are missing pieces of tissue in structures that form the eye.
Coloboma occurs in approximately 1 in 10,000 people.
.0001% of population
Most at birth have dark or blue eyes that may change as they age. Just like every other part of my life, I would not even start out like the rest. When the assessment was made at birth, specialists flew in because these should not be able to happen at the same time normally, mathematically. (What I mean is, without an accident causing it.)
One of my favorite things about having my eyes growing up was always having amazing night vision. Because the Coloboma allowed more light into my eye than most. I could aways see way better than others in the dark, just like cats. After dark, I was the kick the can champion. As I became less young, my favorite part was the women's response when they spotted them. Let’s just say the 80’s were a fruitful time for this young man!
In Thursday’s article I will do a deeper dive when I explain how, not only do I have eyes you have never seen before. I also have a voice, that bye definition of, you've probably never heard. Besides my unique eye’s, I am also an oktavist.
An Octavist has an exceptionally deep-ranged basso profondo, especially typical of Russian Orthodox choral music. This voice type has a vocal range which extends down to A1 (an octave below the baritone range) and sometimes to F1 (an octave below the bass staff) with the extreme lows for oktavists.
From yesterday: “So what’” Everybody comes from somewhere; everybody has their stories.
Thursdays I will explain the math behind this statement, “I am actually 3 in a species.”
I started this Substack to present observations I have made during this journey I call life. To attempt to present my observations in a way that is uplifting yet informative. Something that could, if applied, change all aspects for the participants.
In 2023 I live on the ocean next to my daughter and her family. I designed a #1 Google ranked business I get to play in 21 hours a week. If you choose to come on this journey with me, I believe you will have thoughts you never had before. Then we change the world.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Cheers,

This week's subjects:
Monday) A little background.
Today) Can you tell I have two different color eyes? Can you tell I have a tear drop pupil? I was born with this.
Wednesday) I was raised by a mechanical electrical engineer which is another reason I am what I am. I perceive numbers or math or volume differently.
Thursday) The chances of having two different color eyes is roughly 1 in 500,000. A tear drop pupil is 1 in 750,000. Mathematically it comes out to about 1 in 32 billion. Modern science says in the species that we consider ourselves part of, there's been 90 billion in the history of our species. So, when you hear of someone talking about being 1 in a million, I’m Actually 3 in a species.
Friday) Now imagine knowing this your whole life. Every time you brush your teeth, and you look in the mirror, you realize you’re never going to meet somebody like you. That’s how it began.
