It doesn't mean it's correct.
I might learn something today that changes a perspective of me tomorrow, but it is to the best of my ability.
And I do that because I’m selfish.
I believe because of a NDE (near death experience) at an age before conscious memory, I make different choices than most I have met. If you removed all connection from "past" or "future" what do you do *NOW*? Repeat.
Welcome to "M.E. Kapla's world according to M.E."
This picture was taken in Custer State Park by the passenger on my motorcycle with a digital camera. There is no zoom used to capture this picture. You see it as I saw it on that day. If you look at the bottom of the picture you can just see the start of the shoulder of the road. Take notice of the dust and their bent legs. Yes, I am riding within feet of a running herd of Bison.
Moments earlier when my dad and I came around a bend and over a hill, we spotted this bison herd my dad fell back. He was always "smarter" than I. He viewed this from a safe distance. I did not realized we caught up to a moving herd until we reached the next valley. Then my surroundings sunk in. This picture is of the calves and cows I had been riding next to at the END of the herd. When we arrived at the next valley it was full, I had no idea of the bison herd size kept in Custer.
Afterwards dad said that was one of the coolest, if not the stupidest things he had ever personally seen. Watching his only son on his Harley riding along with a running herd of Bison was a sight he said he would never forget. My dad rode for 61 years, I'm a 3rd generation rider.
Once a year, you can see a herd of 1,400 bison thunder through Custer State Park
Custer State Park in the beautiful Black Hills of western South Dakota is full of lush forests, quiet and serene meadows, and majestic mountains. This 71,000-acre state park is also home to over a thousand bison—one of the world's largest publicly owned bison herds.
This story highlights a situation that for the majority of my life I did not know I have.
Here it is: I only do one thing, “That’s to the best of my ability, and then I repeat.” Now please understand, it doesn't mean it's correct. I might learn something today that changes a perspective of me tomorrow, but it is to the best of my ability. And I do that because I’m selfish.
We have all experienced this exchange of energy. Think of any test you ever studied for. If you tried a little you received a "C". If you put forth your best you received an "A". This is a practical life experience we have all shared. What is put in, comes out. So because I have chose to apply My Best "A" I receive "A" quality return. Even exchange of energy, repeat.
Why have I learned to be the best me? Because I am selfish, (I learned to take care of one's "self first") Life experience has shown me, experience is connected directly to energy expended. Not a 10 or a 1. Not a lot or a little. There is a direct return of energy based on the level of "joy/peace/gratitude/balance/etc." I hold through out my day. So I had to learn to love enough to become selfish. So as I have stated, it doesn't mean it's correct. I might learn something today that changes a perspective of me tomorrow, but it is to the best of my ability in the current now.
This picture and memories only exist because in the world I live in there is no separation. Everything is part of a much larger system that somehow I experience differently than most I have met. Example, no past or future over lays on today, no separation. All Magic is in the current Now! Imagine if the thought of death had been removed before your first memories. You might find yourself with pictures and memories just like this one. Time to share.
In 2023 I live on the ocean next to my daughter and her family. I designed a #1 Google ranked business that I get to play in 21 hours a week. If you choose to come on this journey with me, I believe you will have thoughts you never had before. Then we change the world.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Cheers,
M.E.
