At moments like this, time stands still. Then you can see it for what it truly is.
For most people I have had the pleasure of meeting, this was a new thought, the idea of only doing what comes next. That it is impossible to do something in 5 minutes. The fact that we simply respond to whatever "stimuli" we choose to interact with. Then repeat the process, from birth until death, ponder that a moment.
The word "stimuli" represents for me, everything I believe I have ever interacted with. Every person, place, animal, plant, insect, thought, happy, sad, angry, surprised, life events, births, deaths, marriages, divorces. OK, got the idea. I use the word "stimuli" here because of lack of emotional attachment to it. Unlike words like puppy, money, job, Mother in-law.
When I started to realize this idea in my head, things started to ebb and flow in ways, I never thought possible. Why, because there is something “in the now.”
(Previous article mentioned)
“There's a natural balance in everything. Most would have no idea how to explain it, yet somehow, we all know it's there. As I perceive time differently with the so-called passage of it, I noticed that being connected to things outside of the current now, or present, has unseen side effects. Given the choice, I believe most would judge these effects to be on the unpleasant side. Why would I choose to observe it that way, let me explain.
The reason I believe is, there is not an understanding or observation of what is lost by not being present, or in the current now. This is because there's an unseen force that by not being observed by many is not known about. There is an even exchange that happens in the flow that only happens in the current now, not in a moment or a minute or an hour. Now. By being in it you get to directly affect way more than seams possible.
Without experiencing that connection consciously, most don't have a place for it in their reality. Even though we grew up in it, simply doing what came next. I discovered this when the word procrastination came up in my existence. After this, I understood this concept.
It was explained that you only procrastinate things that you would choose not to do. We never procrastinate stuff we like. So what's the cascading effect of not addressing a current issue and putting it off until a future current now? You dread it. You dreaded it when it came up the first time. When it comes up the second time you get to go through that emotional response again.
What does this mean? Our entire existence is a circle based on our emotional response to everything. It's a self-fulfilling feedback system based on our emotional responses to "stimuli". So when you meet the people that live in the moment, and simply do what's next. You will realize there's something different about them than everybody else. Why would that be? Because all the magic is in the current now.
In the last 24 hours how much of your time have you spent thinking about tomorrow? Dreading what happened yesterday or any combination of those. In the last 24 hours how many of those "units" represented as "minutes" did you spend in this current now. That being said, you have never been able to do something in 5 minutes, ever. And all the magic is in the current now.
Because what I am talking about has no representation in the life of an individual makes it impossible to explain to them. Whatever this "Magic" is, only present in the current now. Why? Apparently, there is nothing outside of the current now, or "What comes next."
What happens when we all realize the only thing, we have ever done, is (“What Comes Next”) Oh that's right, everything changes.
PS: 2023 I live on the ocean, next to my daughter and her family and run a business I designed 21 hours a week. If you choose to come on this journey, I believe you will have thoughts you never had before. Then we change the world.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Cheers,

This week's subjects:
Monday) The only thing you have ever done is, is (“What Comes Next”). That’s it.
Today) You’ve never been able to do something in 5 minutes. Ever.
Wednesday) I only do one thing, “That’s to the best of my ability, and then I repeat.”
Thursday) It doesn't mean it's correct. I might learn something today that changes a perspective of me tomorrow, but it is to the best of my ability. And I do that because I’m selfish.
Friday) Once you've been hit with enough 2x4’s with spikes in them, you realize it doesn't have to get that bad before I change. It’ how we learn.
